In the video you can see an anthropomorphic robot at work lifting and moving heavy cardboard boxes.
The peculiarity of this application is that the handling of the boxes is performed by the robot vertically with respect to the load translation plane.
The robot’s gripping hands are equipped with Vuototecnica’s Octopus BO 12 80 X gripping bars, which have pneumatic vacuum generators directly on board and a 20 mm thick foam rubber gripping surface.
Notice the firm grip despite the weight and the handling with grip of the load from the line to the pallet.
Octopus bars adapt perfectly to the rough and deformable surface of the cardboard, stabilizing it vertically and preventing it from slipping during handling.
All the bars can be equipped, upon request, with a digital vacuum switch to control the gripping process.
A standard pneumatic connection, located on the suction box of the bar, ensures the option of counter-blowing with compressed air during the release phase; both for a quicker restoration of atmospheric pressure and for cleaning the suction surface, in the case of particularly dusty environments.
Octopus is a certainty. Read more: www.vuototecnica.net
