Vuototecnica, which has always been committed to working with its partners to develop cutting-edge solutions, is helping to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs for end customers.

A concrete example of this synergy can be found in a recent application developed in the Brianza area, renowned for its prestigious furniture makers, a particularly suitable territory for the introduction of solutions that aim to improve the quality of processing.

In the context of CNC woodworking machines, the intervention of the distributor partner T.P. Tecnologie Pneumatiche srl, under the supervision of Mr. Diego Colzani, allowed the end user to successfully replace the old rotary vane pumps for powering vacuum stirring benches with the more compact and silent PVP300MD generators from Vuototecnica.

This choice brought several benefits.

The first obvious improvement, as shown in the video, concerns the installation of generators near or under CNC machines.

Unlike dry electric pumps, which are bulky and noisy, PVP300MD generators take up less space while having large suction capacities and ensuring a good level of silence. That’s why they can even be placed under the vacuum table, without the need for long piping and saving the end user from having to invest in expensive soundproof chambers for vacuum pumps; placed at a distance from the machine.

This allows the operator to easily monitor the operating status of the pump and improves the overall efficiency of the system.

Another advantage, not immediately visible, is the simplified maintenance: the PVPs have no moving parts, are made of anodized aluminum, and do not require frequent maintenance such as replacing vanes and graphite disks.

The only operation required is the cleaning of the FC paper filter: a quick task within the reach of all machine operators.

The generation of vacuum through the use of compressed air also opens up countless opportunities to manage the supply of PVP generators with the help of valves and proportional pressure reducers. By doing so, compressed air consumption can be best optimized according to the porosity of the wood panels to be retained.

Finally, when confronted with the clamping of veneered or excellently sealed wood panels, Vuototecnica recommends combining PVP vacuum generators with the Vacumanager; an electropneumatic management unit that limits compressed air consumption to the time strictly necessary to create vacuum.
