Browsing through Vuototecnica’s catalog, it is hard not to come across products that are not in some way sustainability-conscious. Already in itself, the use of vacuum has a green approach, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t pursue the path of continuous improvement.
To further save compressed air and energy, Vuototecnica designed a new integrated solution, the Vacumanager unit: a concentrate of innovation and efficiency, a true vacuum manager.
The Vacuumanager VM series units are integrated, electro-pneumatic circuits, created to supply and manage single-stage and multistage vacuum generators (equipped with a check valve). These units enclose in a body/distributor (machined from solid aluminum and anodized): a digital vacuum switch with display, a supply valve for compressed air, a counter-blow valve, and a flow regulator for the counter-blow valve.
These are in fact electropneumatic control circuits that include all the components for vacuum and counter-blow generation in a handling system equipped with suction cups and powered by pneumatic vacuum generators.
The Vacumanager system in this scenario is able to manage, with a solenoid valve, the correct flow rate of compressed air supply, to the pneumatic vacuum generators, which feed, for example, a suction cup gripping hand.
On the other hand, the second pneumatic solenoid valve, mounted on board the VM units, manages the counter-blow on the vacuum distribution manifold to the suction cups, effectively facilitating the release speed and cleaning of the gripping system in dusty environments. A counter-blow can be modulated in flow capacity by the manual flow regulator, which is integrated into the Vacumanager itself.
In combination with Vuototecnica’s Energy saving cables (code 00 15 202 and 00 15 203), the Vacumanager is the best solution in terms of energy efficiency, as it limits the consumption of the compressed air that feeds the pneumatic vacuum generators to the time strictly necessary to empty the suction cups.
